This 250 year old heritage building was located in a congested Myla pore area. It has become a very famous Event Venue with many Movies and Launches happening here. It is one of the few remaining buildings from a previous era. It was a grand house meant for a joint family Over the years it fell to neglect and repair and had become obsolete in today’s scenario. The intervention sought to conserve the building, highlighting its grand architecture in a residential scale. At the same time through minimum changes (especially to circulation patterns) the building was adapted to today’s usage patterns there-by creating an economic viability for the conservation effort.
