‘Chennai one’ is a 3.8 million SQ. FT IT park where A+V was hired to design a series of spatial inserts to re-vitalize the user experience of the facility. The inserts were designed with distinctive features while maintaining a common language. They comprise of a 500-seater amphitheatre, atrium, lobby with grand staircase and a cafeteria designed in a residual area under the grand stairs. The façade is designed as a series of aluminium fins of multiple colours which bridged the two glass blocks that becomes the welcoming aspect of the project. The introduction of natural light and indoor greenery add tremendous value to this low-cost project where users use the spaces for both transition and congregation.
